Do we need Planning Center to use these apps?
Yes. Every app works from your church's own Planning Center account, and you sign in with it. If your church isn't on Planning Center, we can still help — see our services and wtxLabs Watch.
Who can set up our church in the Hub?
Setting up a church needs an Organization Administrator in Planning Center. After that, they can give anyone on staff a role in each app: Viewer, Manager or Admin.
Do the apps change anything in Planning Center?
Shield and Tend only read Planning Center; they never change anything there. Sync's embeds are read-only as well: signing up, giving and forms open Planning Center's own pages, so what a visitor types goes straight to Planning Center.
What does it cost?
Sync is $19 a month or $190 a year, and you can preview every embed on your own data for free, with no card. Shield and Tend are in early access with a few churches and are not on general sale yet, so ask us about early access.
Is wtxLabs part of Planning Center?
No. wtxLabs is an independent company. The apps use Planning Center’s own sign-in and API, and wtxLabs is not affiliated with or endorsed by Planning Center.
